The Phoenix Suns continue to be the team of the moment and have also won their home game against the Utah Jazz.
The 115-109 win on Monday night (local time) was the seventh in a row for the Western Conference leaders. Devin Booker scored 33 points for the Suns, Chris Paul added 27 points (personal season best) and 14 assists (nine rebounds). The Jazz, who were shorthanded and even led briefly at the start of the final quarter, suffered their eighth defeat in the last ten games and lost more ground to the leaders.
In the Eastern Conference, the Chicago Bulls beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 111-110 to keep up with the Miami Heat. After a comfortable lead at one point, Chicago (best scorer Nikola Vucevic, 26 points) had to tremble at the end, however, and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander could even have equalised two seconds before the final siren.
