Tennis pro Jan-Lennard Struff has reached the quarter-finals in Sofia at the end of his difficult tennis year. In the round of 16 of the hard court tournament, the player from Warstein beat the British outsider Billy Harris 7:6 (7:5), 6:4
On Thursday, Struff will be the only remaining German player to face Hungary’s Fabian Marozsan. Struff is seeded third and had a bye in the first round of the tournament, which has prize money of 562,815 euros. The 33-year-old had taken a break in the summer due to hip problems and therefore missed Wimbledon and the US Open, among others.
