Virgil van Dijk seems to have been accepted in grace again at Southampton. The 26-year-old Orange International Orange was expelled from Mauricio Pellegrino’s selection last month after trying to force a transfer but appeared again on the training field of the Premier League Club on Tuesday, Van Dijk was associated with a departure almost all summer long and even submitted an official transfer request to Southampton. However, this request was not accepted by the club management, who decided last month to even expel the defender from the selection. Van Dijk has been training individually since then, but has now once again made a run on the training field of the Saints, and Southampton trained Tuesday in the run-up to the weekend’s competition against Watford and did so with Van Dijk, as can be seen from photos published by the club on its official website. Without the Dutchman, the Pellegrino team had a good start to the season: Southampton ranks eighth in the Premier League after three five-point competition ducks.
