After a week of secrecy, the wrestling league reveals that Charlotte Flair will be out for a long time. She apparently misses the year’s highlight WrestleMania
The wrestling empire WWE will have to do without one of its biggest female stars for a long time: Charlotte Flair will be out for around nine months, according to the league.
During the latest edition of the TV show Friday Night SmackDown, the promotion revealed the news after a week of guesswork surrounding the condition of wrestling icon Ric Flair’s daughter.

Charlotte – the league’s record women’s champ with 14 reigns – had competed in a match against Japan’s Asuka on the previous episode of SmackDown, suffering an apparently painful injury to her left leg. The 37-year-old finished the match but then had to receive treatment and leave the arena with the help of medics and officials.
WWE kept the severity of the injury under wraps for a week. However, the leaked news that Flair had been taken “off the road” and spent the past week in her native Florida had led to worse fears.
WWE did not reveal the exact injury Flair suffered, but the length of time he was out of action suggests a torn ACL. In the past, however, there have been cases in which WWE has deliberately published false failure forecasts to make comebacks more surprising
If Flair’s case does not fall into this category, it is certain that she will not only miss the Royal Rumble at the end of January, but also the annual highlight WrestleMania 40 in April.
