Carlos Alcaraz is once again unable to compete in Monte Carlo
The Spanish world number three Carlos Alcaraz is unable to compete at the ATP Masters in Monte Carlo due to injury. The Wimbledon winner announced his withdrawal on social media on Tuesday due to problems with his right forearm. “I really wanted to play… see you next year,” wrote Alcaraz, who had already missed last year’s tournament in Monaco.
The Spaniard recently lost his second place in the world rankings to Miami and Australian Open winner Jannik Sinner from Italy. Alcaraz had convincingly won the Masters in Indian Wells in mid-March
