The test match scheduled for Sunday between Atletico Madrid and Juventus Turin in Tel Aviv, Israel, has been moved to Italy due to security concerns.
The two clubs announced on Saturday that the match will not take place as planned due to the armed confrontation between Israel and the Palestinian organisation Islamic Jihad PIJ.
Instead, both teams will meet at the Turin training ground for the last endurance test before the respective season starts. On 15 August, Atletico will face Getafe FC away, while Juventus will start the Italian championship with a home match against Sassuolo Calcio on the same day.
The Bloomfield Stadium in Tel Aviv hosted the French Super Cup last Sunday between champions Paris St Germain and cup winners FC Nantes, which PSG won 4-0.
On Friday, the conflict between Israel and the militant PIJ intensified.
