1. FC Heidenheim are working towards a fine end to the calendar year: the 3-0 win over Jahn Regensburg was their third in a row and cause for compliments from coach Frank Schmidt.
“Those were absolute top scores again,” Schmidt said after his team’s 3-0 win against Regensburg. “We worked a lot and ran a lot.” The Heidenheim side had already taken the lead in their last home game of the year when the sending-off for Regensburg’s Otto shortly before the break (43rd) turned the game decisively in 1.
