On his first day in charge of sport at second-division club SKN St. Pölten, Jan Schlaudraff has already fixed a training camp in Wolfsburg for his “Wolves”
Jan Schlaudraff has not even been officially presented yet (he will be on 5 January), when SKN St. Pölten already announces his first training camp with cooperation partner VfL Wolfsburg.
From 10 to 21 January, the crisis-ridden Bundesliga relegation team will set up camp in Wolfsburg. On 5 January, the coaching duo Stephan Helm and (ex-Wolfsburg) Emanuel Pogatetz will ask the “Wolves” to take part in sports motor performance tests at the Sportzentrum NÖ, and on 6 January they will train on grass for the first time.
First test opponent is Austria Wien
The first test matches against Austria Wien (5 February, Generali Arena) and against Rapid Wien II (11 February, venue still open) have also been fixed by the second division club. The first competitive match is scheduled for 18 February against Liefering in the NV Arena.
Schlaudraff has been officially in charge of the Lower Austrians since Monday, but has already been showing his face in St. Pölten time and again in recent weeks and has initiated the first decisions. On Wednesday, he will be officially presented to the press, as will Matthias Gebauer (managing director of business).
