In Bremen, it took less than four minutes before Harry Kane combined with Leroy Sané to score Bayern’s first goal of the season. Now Sané talks about the new signing.
At the moment, the Munich professionals are away with their national teams. Among them, of course, is Leroy Sané, who has been on an upward trend in recent weeks. This is partly due to coach Thomas Tuchel, but also to the signing of Harry Kane, who is doing the German winger’s game an enormous amount of good.
“I’ve already played against him many times at Manchester City,” says Munich’s number 10: “Anyway, I follow the Premier League very closely, and there can be no two opinions about the fact that Harry has been one of the best centre-forwards in the world there over the last decade, and that in a league full of numerous other world-class nines. “
Sané is happy that Kane has joined FC Bayern, partly because the arrival of the centre-forward has had a positive impact on the fine technician’s game. “He has fitted in very well on a human level, makes a very professional and also down-to-earth impression. He’s a completely normal guy,” Sané enthuses.
“It’s important for our style of play that we have a true nine. But Harry also drops sometimes, so we can rotate well. I love to push forward with speed from attacking midfield – that has worked well with Harry a few times and with more games and training sessions, it can definitely get even better. “
