In Rocket League, the twelfth season opens on Wednesday. As a highlight, developer Psyonix has announced the inclusion of the Porsche 911 Turbo – however, this is a Pass Premium content.
When the twelfth Season in Rocket League kicks off on Wednesday at 5pm, the focus is clear: Psyonix is adding the Porsche 911 Turbo to the virtual line-up. The sports car is at the centre of the announcement – the occasion is the 75th anniversary of the manufacturer. However, it will only be immediately available with the paid Rocket Pass Premium, which also unlocks the improved Porsche 911 Turbo RLE by levelling up.
Season 12 also brings a new arena variant with Neo-Tokyo (Hacked). Players will be able to “experience a world of digital disruption”. The return of the Haunted Hallows in-game event is also on the agenda. However, only later in the season, probably at Halloween. On top of that, the developer says new rewards for competitive tournaments will be introduced.
“Holographic touch” – or rather “nostalgic”?
Other than that, Season 12 in Rocket League comes up with the “Hacked Halo” roof attachment, among other things, which is supposed to give the car a “holographic touch”. According to Psyonix, players can “indulge nostalgically in antique technology” with the “CRT” avatar frame. In addition, the new paint schemes “Bubblewrap”, “Keyboard” and “Pixel” will be available.
