Contract for three years
The company, which is listed on the DAX and employs almost 30,000 people, will become a Champions Partner – meaning that it will be present on the perimeter boards, among other things, but not on the Bundesliga club’s jerseys. The partnership, which is to be officially announced on Wednesday, is initially set to run for three years and will bring BVB a high single-digit million sum per contract year.
In addition, Borussia Dortmund will consult with business, society and its own supporters to determine whether the Group fits in with its values. It was only in November 2022 that the club adopted a code of core values, which states the following: “We will always be committed to social success.
