RB Leipzig is the first Bundesliga club to take legal action against the spectator cap. The Saxons are currently only allowed to let 1000 spectators into the stadium.
RB Leipzig has applied to the Saxon Higher Administrative Court in Bautzen for an interim injunction in summary proceedings. This was announced by the club on Saturday.
Leipzig hope that in this way “a decision that is factually fair, justified and comprehensible for all sides and at the same time a solution regarding the current extreme spectator restriction at the home matches” can be obtained.
