FC Bayern, who are expecting Olise directly after the Olympics, can therefore look forward to an in-form Olise. Before that, however, the winger, who according to information has been released by Crystal Palace for around 51 million euros, wants to crown himself with Olympic gold.
Spain await in the final on Friday. With a view to the European Championship, there is still a score to settle.
Henry impresses with “very good spatial awareness “
National coach Thierry Henry is happy to have Olise in his ranks. “Michael made the difference again,” enthused the former world-class striker after the semi-final: “He does some pretty extraordinary things with his foot. ”
Six scoring points in five appearances speak for themselves. “He’s a very important player for us. He can pass, he can score, he has a very good understanding of space. He knows how to press,” praises Henry. His mature pressing behavior in particular should benefit him under new Bayern coach Vincent Kompany, who places particular emphasis on this.
It is no coincidence that Bayern have signed him to a five-year contract until June 30, 2029. “The fans come to the stadium for players like him,” explained sporting director Max Eberl during the transfer announcement.
