Premier League: Football Manager secures full license

Sports Interactive has pulled off a real coup: The developer has secured a multi-year partnership with the Premier League.

Sports Interactive sees nothing less than the “epitome of an elite national league” in the Premier League, which will now also be officially licensed in the London-based developer’s Football Manager. The developer and league announced this “multi-year partnership” on Monday, making FM fans’ hearts beat faster

Full licensing of all first division clubs

Part of the partnership is the full licensing of the top English league in the manager simulation. All 20 Premier League clubs will therefore receive official logos, shirts and player photos – much to the delight of Miles Jacobson, Sport Interactive’s Studio Director: “Since the beginning of Football Manager, we have always wanted to work with the Premier League and are delighted to announce that we are finally doing so. “

Will Brass, CCO of the Premier League, was equally impressed and emphasized the history of FM: “Football Manager has been a huge part of the sporting landscape for decades and is experienced and loved by millions of fans worldwide.” Accordingly, the League is “thrilled to now feature even more prominently in the game and help deliver a deeper, more authentic experience for anyone taking on the challenge of managing a Premier League club.”

But FM gamers will have to be patient a little longer before that happens. The new era of Football Manager will kick off in the upcoming 2024/25 season after the European Championships.
