Previous year’s finalist Phoenix Suns remain on the road to success in the NBA. The Indiana Pacers also felt the effects of this.
The team around leader Chris Paul won 113-103 against the Pacers on Saturday night and is still clearly ahead of the Golden State Warriors at the top of the Western Conference after six wins in a row. Paul contributed a strong 16 assists and also 18 points in the 36th win of the season for the team that lost to the Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA Finals last season.
Also without ailing star Giannis Antetokounmpo, the defending champions also picked up a win, walking out with a 133-127 victory over the Sacramento Kings. The Bucks remain fourth in the Eastern Conference of the North American league behind league leaders Brooklyn Nets, Chicago Bulls and Miami Heat.
The Cleveland Cavaliers follow in fifth place with two fewer wins. They won their home game against the Oklahoma City Thunder 94-87.
