Tee off for PGA Tour 2K23: The new part of the golf simulation will be released on 11 October – with new pros, courses and a familiar face as cover athlete and executive director.
This autumn it’s time to tee off on the console as well – the golf simulation PGA Tour 2K23 will be released on 11 October with the Deluxe and Tiger Woods Edition, and the Standard Edition will hit the shelves on 14 October. Those who get their hands on the physical edition will be smiled upon by Tiger Woods himself. The golf icon is on all three covers – even participated in the game as executive director.

New additions to the course staff and mic
Players can virtually swing the iron with the four-time PGA winner, thirteen other male and female pros are also available to choose from. Among them: Justin Thomas, Lexi Thompson, Tony Finau, Lydia Ko, Collin Morikawa, Will Zalatoris, Brooke Henderson. DLCs will also add more pros and courses as they progress. The pros are joined by the television broadcast-style presentations and the commentary team of Rich Beem and Luke Elvy, with the addition of English golf pro and presenter Henni Koyack.
At release, 20 licensed courses are available – including some new additions, such as the South Course of the Wilmington Country Club, The Renaissance Club, St. George’s Golf and Country Club. For those who are virtually on the golf course for the first time, new casual modes will help them find their way into the game. At the same time, they also offer new challenges for experienced players. In “Topgolf”, for example, the aim is to aim at targets and achieve the highest score. The practice mode offers various ways to develop one’s skills, including swing calibration, lessons, chip drills, a practice range and a putting green.
PGA TOUR 2K23 will be released for the Xbox One and Xbox Series XS as well as the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 – the game will also be available for PC. Small catch: Crossplay is not possible, so anyone who wants to play with friends via the multiplayer mode must have the same console. This also affects the console generations.
