Olympic champion Alexander Zverev surprisingly lost his round of 16 match the day before. The top favourite for the title of the event, which is endowed with around 530,000 euros, is now Casper Ruud from Norway. The number two seed narrowly beat Alex Molcan of Slovakia 3-6, 6-4 and 6-4.
