Miami – Naomi Osaka and Iga Swiatek are in the final of the Tennis Masters in Miami. There, a former world number one and the new world number one will meet on Sunday.
Osaka of Japan defeated Olympic champion Belinda Bencic of Switzerland 4-6, 6-3, 6-4, while Swiatek of Poland beat Jessica Pegula of the USA 6-2, 7-5. For Osaka, it is her first final on the WTA Tour since winning the Australian Open more than a year ago. Swiatek takes over the top spot in the world rankings after the withdrawal of Ashleigh Barty of Australia on Monday.
