Just before the end of the transfer period, EWE Baskets Oldenburg have strengthened their squad for the relegation battle in the Basketball Bundesliga (BBL).
The third-bottom team announced the signing of American centre Reggie Lynch, who has already played for Iraklis Thessaloniki in Greece and Napoli Basket in Italy this season.
The 27-year-old is expected to compensate for the absence of Martin Breunig and Norris Agbakoko due to injury in the crucial phase of the season. “A follow-up signing became inevitable for us. In the last few weeks, we have been on the right track in sporting terms. Now we are entering the decisive phase of the season in which we must continue to play successfully,” said Baskets boss Hermann Schüller.
