After his release from AEW, Miro / Rusev is apparently on the verge of making his comeback to the market leader.
The next prominent signing of the wrestling market leader WWE is obviously taking shape.
As Pro Wrestling Insider’s usually well-informed reporter Mike Johnson reports, Miro aka Rusev was spotted at WWE headquarters in Stamford on Wednesday. Apparently, the Bulgarian re-signed with WWE after being released from AEW – along with his released partner in crime Ricky Saints (Starks), Rey Fenix and probably also Aleister / Malakai Black.
Miro / Rusev back to WWE
Miro had joined All Elite Wrestling after his WWE departure in 2020 and was quite successful there as TNT Champion for a time, but recently the relationship seemed strained: he had not been used since the end of 2023, and his departure from AEW was at his own request.
There has also been news about Miro in his private life recently. After an interim separation, he has reconciled with his wife CJ Perry / Lana, which has also fueled WWE comeback rumors on her side. However, she is not said to have accompanied him to Stamford on Wednesday.
