Kerim Engizek, mixed martial arts fighter from Düsseldorf, will compete for the first time at “Oktagon MMA”. Now his opponent has been determined.
The mixed martial arts fighter Kerim Engizek from Düsseldorf will meet the Argentinian Matias Juarez in his first duel at “Oktagon MMA”. This was announced by the organisers on Tuesday. Almost 10,000 spectators are expected for the event on 16 September in Frankfurt’s sold-out Festhalle.
For Engizek, who has been undefeated for eleven fights and is the German number one in his weight class, it will be the 22nd fight of his professional career. His opponent, 37-year-old Juarez nicknamed “El Dragon”, is considered one of the best fighters from all of Latin America. It is also the first Octagon MMA appearance for him.
In the main fight of the evening, local hero Katharina Dalisda from Frankfurt will try to become the first German ever to win the Octagon MMA title.
