No move to ManUnited: Trapp stays with Eintracht Frankfurt

Kevin Trapp (32) has decided to stay with Eintracht Frankfurt and will not move to Manchester United. The national goalkeeper made the announcement on Thursday morning.

“In the past few days there have been a lot of reports about Manchester United’s interest,” Trapp wrote on his Instagram account. “It is true that there is a written offer. Manchester United is a world club and the fact that I am looking into such an offer and worrying about it, I hope everyone can understand. “

The offer to Eintracht is said to have been in the high single-digit millions. However, the transfer will now not come to fruition.

“Yesterday, however, I informed those responsible at both clubs that I had decided in favour of Eintracht,” Trapp wrote on his account. “I have experienced unforgettable things here with Frankfurt and we have made history together. The start of the season was bumpy, but I have absolute confidence in us.”

Trapp’s contract with the Hessians runs until 2024.
