The basketball players of FC Bayern München have extended the contract with point guard Zan Mark Sisko. The 25-year-old Slovenian signed until the summer of 2024.
“Zan Mark has become a pillar of our team thanks to his ability to direct a game, play the right pass and also his close connection with coach Trinchieri and his ideas,” sporting director Daniele Baiesi said in a club statement on Friday. “He is and will remain an important piece of the puzzle of our team. “
Sisko, who is in his hometown of Llubljana and has already started individual training again, says: “First of all, I hope for our next season to have a year without as many problems as last year with Corona and injuries. I wish that for everyone in general. Then we will have a very good chemistry again and a team that will leave everything on the field and fight to the end in every game. We will give everything to get the titles and victories for our club and also for our fans, who are always there for us.”
Bayern had also recently extended the contracts of Othello Hunter, Augustine Rubit and Nick Weiler-Babb. Set-up man Sisko has been pacing for Bayern since December 2019.
