Bayer Leverkusen will be dressed by a newcomer to the German market from the coming season: The club has signed an outfitter contract with Castore.
The Werkself has signed a contract with the British company until 2027. Bayer is the first German club to be kitted out by Castore. The company was only founded in 2015 as a start-up in the premium sportswear segment. The sports brand already equips clubs such as Glasgow Rangers, Newcastle United and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
“In Castore we have found an innovative partner whose ambitions fit very well with Bayer 04,” commented Fernando Carro, Chairman of the Board of Management, on the new cooperation. “Both the quality of the products and the digital and international approach of the company have convinced us. Together with Castore, we want to set new standards in the future, especially in the area of sponsor and target group activation.”
The contract with previous supplier Jako (since the 2016/17 season) expires in 2022.
