In FC 25, developer EA SPORTS wants to reward progress in all game modes within a higher-level Season Pass. What’s this all about?
While the release of FC 25 is getting closer every day, the rumor mill around the upcoming soccer simulation from EA SPORTS is also heating up. In addition to possible ratings for the future spin-off, beta leaks about some of the game’s new features can also be found on social media. For example, there are first impressions of the new hub season
Progression system for everyone?
The new progression system for FC 25 looks like a Season Pass, as FC players might already know it from Ultimate Team. Points can be collected by completing tasks from Career Mode, FUT and the like, which are used to progress from level to level. Several rewards will be available for levels reached. These are likely to include FUT packs or customization options for club avatars. In this way, the developer could presumably want to ensure that all players get their money’s worth and can choose rewards that are relevant to their preferred game mode
In addition, the pictures on X, Reddit, Instagram and Co. show that there could actually be a premium version of the Hub Season. Cost point according to matching descriptions: 1,500 FC Points. Converted, this corresponds to around 14 euros, for which players can probably look forward to more and potentially better rewards.
However, it is not yet known exactly how these will differ from the regular rewards of the free version. In any case, things can of course still change between beta and final release. EA could, for example, cancel these plans completely following player feedback
Known mechanics remain
It is also important to note that the new Hub Season will probably not replace the previous progression mechanics. According to beta screenshots, for example, the FUT-inherent seasons will continue to exist. The Hub Season presumably only serves as an additional reward screen that spans all game modes in FC 25 and may also encourage players to check out previously rarely visited areas of the soccer simulation and the new Rush mode
