The schedule for the new NBA season is set. The season will be opened by NBA champion Denver with a home game against the L.A. Lakers
The new NBA season will open on 24 October. The Denver Nuggets get to kick things off, with the defending champions hosting the Los Angeles Lakers in their own arena. Just a few weeks ago, Nikola Jokic and Co. won 4:0 against the Lakers in the semi-finals of the play-offs. Also on 24 October, the Golden State Warriors will meet the Phoenix Suns.
The Dallas Mavericks are challenged a day later – and face the San Antonio Spurs, where super talent Victor Wembanyama is expected to make his debut.
The main round of the 78th NBA season will end as usual with 82 games on 14 April 2024, with the play-offs starting on 20 April. The first final game is scheduled for 6 June.
