The NBA’s traditional Christmas games are set to feature a clash between Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks and LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers.
This was reported by The Athletic on Monday. The NBA has not officially commented on the matter, but the full schedule for the 2022/23 season is expected to be released in August. Christmas games typically feature five games in a row on December 25 and are broadcast on national television.
According to “The Athletic” journalist Shams Charania, the Lakers are scheduled to play the Mavericks, who also feature German international Maxi Kleber.
The other scheduled games are: champion Golden State Warriors against the Memphis Grizzlies, finalist Boston Celtics against the Milwaukee Bucks, the New York Knicks against the Philadelphia 76ers and the Denver Nuggets with league MVP Nikola Jokic against main round winner Phoenix Suns.
