It is not yet certain that Corentin Tolisso will leave FC Bayern at the end of the season. Julian Nagelsmann left everything open after the 2:2 against Stuttgart.
Niklas Süle was given a ceremonial farewell before the final home game, Corentin Tolisso not yet: whether the 27-year-old midfielder will also leave FC Bayern on a transfer remains unclear.
“No final decision has been made yet,” coach Julian Nagelsmann said after the 2-2 draw with VfB Stuttgart and the reception of the championship trophy on Sunday. “That leaves room for interpretation in all directions.”
Tolisso, who joined the record champions from Olympique Lyon for €41.5 million in 2017, has just under eight weeks left on his contract. Talks have already been held with sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic, and both sides know their ideas.
However, it is highly unlikely that an agreement will be reached – in view of Tolisso’s service record on the one hand and his salary expectations on the other.
