Ducati has announced that it will compete in a special livery at this year’s Italian Grand Prix in Mugello. “The Nazionali Azzurre make millions of Italians rave, and we feel that we are doing the same on race weekends by representing our country on the world’s racetracks,” comments Ducati Sporting Director Mauro Grassilli.
“On the occasion of our home Grand Prix in Mugello, we have therefore decided to create a link between the red passion that characterizes us on the racetrack and the Azzurro color that unites us in our love for the sport,” explains the Italian, who succeeds Paolo Ciabatti this year. With the special livery, Ducati is also giving a foretaste of the upcoming European Football Championship.
