Islam Dulatov is one step closer to his dream of a career in the UFC.
The 23-year-old, who also works as a model and already has over 64,000 followers on Instagram, won against Michael Rirsch of Austria at the NFC 8 event of the German MMA league National Fighting Championship in Düsseldorf – after only 46 seconds of fighting time!
After a short feeling out, Dulatov was pressed against the cage by Rirsch and both went down. But Dulatov had his opponent in a stranglehold and Rirsch had to give up.
Dulatov escapes to Düsseldorf
“The Ripper” Dulatov already looks back on an eventful time at a young age.
Born in Grozny, Chechnya, he fled to Germany with his three brothers and grew up in a home for asylum seekers in Düsseldorf.
From there he went out into the big world – with big goals.
One day Dulatov wants to fight in the UFC. After the quick victory over Rirsch, this goal has already become a little more realistic again.
