From the next home match, 1. FSV Mainz 05 will again be allowed to increase its spectator capacity.
Under the Rhineland-Palatinate’s Corona Ordinance, which comes into force on Monday, 6800 fans will once again be permitted in the Mainz Arena the following Saturday, 5 February, against TSG Hoffenheim. This corresponds to the now permitted capacity of 20 per cent.
In addition to VIP and seating tickets, there will also be standing room and guest tickets. TSG will receive five per cent of the tickets, i.e. a total of 340. In the stadium, masks will also be compulsory on the seats as well as the 2G rule, and in the VIP area the 2G plus rule.
On Monday, tickets will be allocated to season ticket holders, who will have priority. Any remaining tickets will go on sale on Wednesday.
