The partnership between 1. FC Köln and Rewe, which has already lasted 14 years, is being extended.
The Rewe Group has been the main and jersey partner of 1. FC Köln since the 2007/08 season. Now the billy goats have extended the deal by three more years until 2025.
The partnership goes far beyond sponsorship: 1. FC Köln and Rewe Group have long been jointly involved in social activities, for example for the food banks as well as for integration projects and non-discrimination.
“We have experienced promotions and relegations together, represented FC in Europe together and stood by each other when the Corona pandemic made for a very difficult football year in the Bundesliga. We are therefore particularly pleased to move into the future together and to continue implementing our social projects, which are very important to us,” FC managing director Alexander Wehrle was quoted as saying in a club statement.
