The Madpanda Motorsport team shows its design for the GTWC season opener, with which the team will also compete in the ADAC GT Masters
With the start of the GT World Challenge (GTWC) Europe Madpanda Motorsport shows its design for 2022 for the first time. The Mercedes-AMG GT3 “Marga”, with which the team will also compete in the German GT Championship, was unveiled in Imola.
The camouflage design of previous years has given way to a tidier undercoat. There are now clear black and white areas – the colours of the panda bear. The lettering “Madpanda” adorns all horizontal surfaces.
While the drivers for the ADAC GT Masters have not yet been announced, Dusan Borkovic, Sean Walkinshaw and team owner Ezequiel Perez Companc will compete in the Endurance Cup of the GTWC Europe in the Silver Cup.
Perez Companc had originally announced his intention to take a break from driving, but has now returned to the cockpit. As he has always spoken very positively about the ADAC GT Masters, a further driving commitment is likely.
Madpanda Motorsport will field one of five Mercedes-AMG GT3s in the 2022 ADAC GT Masters. After the 3-hour race at Imola, the German GT Championship test drives at Oschersleben are immediately on the agenda.
