After the 1-1 draw against FC Bayern Munich at the Bundesliga opener, Gladbach’s start to the season under their new coach Adi Hütter had been bumpy. Since the 1-0 home win against Borussia Dortmund at the end of September, however, things have been going better again.

He also reveals how he coped with the German national team’s poor performance at the European Championship last summer.
