Third-placed LASK have made a move for the strong attacking spirit Valon Berisha, who has returned to the Bundesliga. The Kosovar has signed until the summer of 2026
LASK announced the signing of Kosovan team player Valon Berisha on Monday morning. An old acquaintance for many, the 30-year-old attacking player played a total of 167 Bundesliga games for RB Salzburg from 2012 to 2018, scoring 31 goals in the process.
Most recently, Berisha played for Melbourne City FC in Australia. “We are very happy that Valon Berisha has decided to join us. He has outstanding skills and fits perfectly into our requirements profile with his strengths and style of play. We are convinced that he can take on a leading role with his experience and will further improve our game,” said Radovan Vujanovic, Managing Director Sport, about the prominent new signing.
“I was emotional from the very first moment. LASK is a highly attractive club and the task is enormously appealing to me. The sight of the Raiffeisen Arena immediately confirmed my decision and I was immediately hooked,” says Berisha. Berisha will line up with the number 14, previously worn by Husein Balic, who only made five appearances in the fall
