Double bitter for 1860 Munich: In the already disappointing 1:3 defeat against VfL Osnabrück, defender Niklas Lang had to be substituted in the 76th minute after twisting his knee.
On Monday evening, the Löwen announced that the 19-year-old will be out for several weeks “after detailed examinations” due to a knee injury. However, an operation would not be necessary. The third division club did not give any further details about the injury.
The centre-back, who has been a regular this season and has already played 14 games this season, will therefore also miss the Löwen’s next game. After the international break, the Munich club will play MSV Duisburg on 20 November.
