Munich – The German tennis doubles team of Kevin Krawietz and Andreas Mies celebrated their second tournament win in a row three weeks before the start of the French Open.
The duo won the final at the Munich tennis tournament against Brazil’s Rafael Matos and Spain’s David Vega Hernandez 4-6, 6-4, 10-7.
A week ago, the Germans had secured their first tournament win in Barcelona since their joint comeback earlier this year. Last season, the pair had been unable to play together for several months due to a knee injury suffered by Mies.
At the Grand Slam in Paris (22 May to 5 June), which the Germans have already won twice together, they are among the title contenders.
