Munich – The German tennis doubles team of Kevin Krawietz and Andreas Mies reached the final of the tournament in Munich. The duo, who have already won the French Open together twice, beat Lloyd Glasspool of Great Britain and Harri Heliovaara of Finland 7-5, 6-3.
A week ago, the Germans had celebrated their first tournament win in Barcelona since their joint comeback earlier this year. Last season, the pairing had been unable to play together for more than half a year due to a knee injury suffered by Mies.
