Krannich returns to Rehm’s side

After head coach Rüdiger Rehm, FC Ingolstadt now also signed his long-time co-coach Mike Krannich.

Krannich and Rehm form a team again. The 49-year-old already worked as a co-coach under the new Ingolstadt head coach in 2013 at SG Sonnenhof-Großaspach and then at Arminia Bielefeld and SV Wehen Wiesbaden.

“First of all, I would like to thank SV Wehen Wiesbaden for almost five very special years and the personal consideration. Then, when the request came from Ingolstadt, I didn’t have to think twice and am now very much looking forward to working with the complete team,” the UEFA A Licence holder is quoted as saying on the club’s website. “We will try everything to get the maximum out of it. “

FCI, bottom of the table with a seven-point gap to the relegation places, recently celebrated their first win under Rehm at the end of the year with a 3-0 win over Dresden. On 2 January, the Bavarians will start preparing for the rest of the season. With Mike Krannich at Rehm’s side.
