German tennis pro Dominik Koepfer has been eliminated in the quarter-finals of the ATP tournament in Acapulco, Mexico. The world number 58 was narrowly beaten 6:7 (2:7), 6:7 (0:7) by the Danish number two seed Holger Rune
The 29-year-old Koepfer had somewhat surprisingly defeated the American Frances Tiafoe in three sets in the previous round. The hard court tournament in the Mexican seaside resort is endowed with a total of 2.2 million dollars.
