Klopp sees pupil winning from De Bruyne:’ For me it means nothing at all’.

Mohamed Salah is experiencing a formidable season at Liverpool and Jürgen Klopp hasn’t escaped that either. The manager of Liverpool enjoys the actions, goals and assists of the Egyptian man who has scored 32 times this season in 38 official duels. The German even sees his pupil competing with Kevin De Bruyne for the individual prizes, which are distributed at the end of the season.

Asked whether Salah De Bruyne can beat in the individual football elections, Klopp replied:”Of course. They have different positions, so it depends on what you emphasise and enjoy. There is no doubt that Kevin De Bruyne has a good season, but there is no doubt that Salah has already had a good season.

“Not only he, but also some other players. Some might suggest Harry Kane, for example. And Roberto Firmino is also great. David Silva had a few weeks in which he was absent due to private circumstances, but he also experienced an excellent season. There are a few good players this season in the Premier League, and I will undoubtedly have forgotten some names”.

“Luckily I don’t have to decide”, the manager continues:”In the end there will be a winner. That is also good. You work so hard because you want to win. I don’t think that many football players do this to be part of anything. You just want to win things, that’s in man. For me personally, individual prices do not mean anything at all. I have no idea why, but it is the truth.

Do you agree with Jürgen Klopp?
