Sonny Kittel moves from Rakow Tschenstochau to Grasshopper Club Zürich. The 31-year-old signs a one-year contract with an option to extend it

Last summer, Sonny Kittel moved from HSV to Rakow Tschenstochau on a free transfer. After just one year, his time in Poland is already over. Kittel is now moving on to Grasshopper Club Zürich in Switzerland, the club announced on its website on Saturday. The 31-year-old’s new contract runs for one year and includes an option to extend. The two clubs have kept the other terms to themselves.

Born in Giessen, he has been under contract with Eintracht Frankfurt, FC Ingolstadt and HSV in the past and has already played 201 times in the Bundesliga 2. He scored an impressive 57 goals and made 60 assists. In his 60 appearances in the Bundesliga, he was not so convincing: just two goals and two assists
