Angelique Kerber can spend Christmas and the turn of the year without the stress of traveling. After the end of her career, her daughter is the center of attention.
The former Wimbledon champion Angelique Kerber is enjoying Christmas with her young daughter after ending her career. “It’s nice to see how the little one is getting bigger and bigger and perceiving more and more. This year she actually picks up on a bit more,“ the 36-year-old reported in the ‘Sporttalk’ podcast on Hit Radio FFH.
”Christmas trees, the way they are decorated, all the lights,” Kerber listed. ”The carousel rides are slowly starting now.” The daughter of the three-time Grand Slam tournament winner will turn two at the end of February 2025.
Kerber ended her career at last summer’s Olympics in France. Around Christmas time, the former world number one was always due to travel to Australia for the start of the season. She will spend the holidays as usual in Puszczykowo, Poland.
