Big disappointment for the German tennis players Angelique Kerber and Andrea Petkovic. Both were eliminated in the first round of the WTA tournament in Doha.
Angelique Kerber has also been eliminated in the first round of the tennis tournament in Doha. The German number one was defeated 6:4, 3:6, 2:6 by Jil Teichmann from Switzerland on Monday and is still waiting for her first win this year.
Kerber had already failed in the first round at the Australian Open in Melbourne after being stopped by a coronavirus infection during her preparation.
