Wolverhampton Wanderers need to rethink after the unfortunate Premier League start of Sasa Kalajdzic (25). Perhaps Diego Costa (33) can fix it.
Denn: According to British media reports, the Brazilian striker is to undergo a trial at the Premier League club. The currently out-of-contract attacker is being traded in England as a replacement for the injured Sasa Kalajdzic. Kalajdzic made the move from VfB Stuttgart last week, but suffered a cruciate ligament injury in his first appearance for Wolves (he finished after 45 minutes). The Austrian is currently at a specialist for a more detailed examination.
Diego Costa is expected to make an audition at Wolverhampton on Tuesday, after which a decision will be made on whether he is a potential signing, according to the media. The brawny striker played for Atletico Mineiro in Brazil until January. Since then he has been out of contract and has not played a game.
The advantage would be that Diego Costa already knows the Premier League. He played for Chelsea FC between the summer of 2014 and winter of 2017, scoring a remarkable 52 goals in 89 league games for the Blues.
