Jacques Villeneuve marries in Paddock Chapel in Las Vegas

Ex-world champion Jacques Villeneuve has married for the third time: The Canadian said “I do” to his girlfriend Giulia Marra in the Paddock Chapel in Las Vegas

What is definitely part of a visit to Las Vegas? Most people probably think of three things: casinos, Elvis Presley impersonators and, of course, getting married. Formula 1 even set up its own little paddock chapel at its premiere in the gambling city, just in case anyone gets the urge

And there was even someone who wanted to get married in this chapel. Former Formula 1 world champion Jacques Villeneuve said “I do” to his long-term girlfriend Giulia Marra on Thursday evening. This is the Canadian’s third marriage.

Villeneuve and women – that is his own story. In his career, the ex-driver has been seen with many different partners at his side. First he was in a relationship with a Canadian student named Sandrine Gros D’Aillon, followed by Australian singer Danii Minogue, Kylie Minogue’s sister.

After another relationship with the American ballerina Ellen Green, Villeneuve married for the first time in 2006, to the Frenchwoman Johanna Martinez. Three years later, the two divorced. His second marriage was to the Brazilian Camila Andrea Lopez Lillo in 2012.

He is currently dating Italian Giulia Marra, whom he has now married in Las Vegas to great public acclaim. The couple have two children together, a son and a daughter. In total, Villeneuve has already been a father six times – he has two children with each of his spouses
