Revenge successful: tennis star Jannik Sinner has led the Italian team to the Davis Cup final and inflicted two heavy defeats on his rival Novak Djokovic
The world number four first won his eagerly awaited singles duel against Grand Slam record winner Djokovic 6:2, 2:6, 7:5 in Malaga. Sinner then took the decisive point in the doubles alongside Lorenzo Sonego against the duo Djokovic/Miomir Kecmanovic with a 6:3, 6:4 victory over Serbia to win 2:1. In the final on Sunday in Malaga, Italy will face Australia, who beat underdog Finland 2-0 on Friday

Six days after the final of the ATP Finals for the world’s best players, which Djokovic won against Sinner, both top stars once again offered some top-class tennis.
