After two years, German international Oscar da Silva is leaving FC Barcelona. The Catalans made the announcement on their homepage on Sunday
The Spanish club said it had used a clause to terminate the German international’s contract, which runs until 2025.
Da Silva, who is part of world champions Germany’s squad in preparation for the Olympic Games in Paris, moved to Barcelona from Alba Berlin in 2022. The wing player made a total of 136 appearances for the Blaugrana, including 64 Euroleague games in a Barca jersey. During this time, da Silva did not win a title with the traditional team.
It is not known where da Silva’s path will take him. Most recently, there had been rumors of interest from double winners Bayern Munich.
