After an initial in-depth examination, FC Bayern announced on Saturday evening that Davies had pulled a ligament in his left knee and would have to take a “break”.
So while Tuchel will have to do without Davies for the time being, two other players could be available again for the game against the Werkself. It will be decided “in the middle of the week” whether Dayot Upamecano and Joshua Kimmich will travel to Leverkusen. “We’ll definitely try that,” hoped Tuchel.
Kim still busy at the Asian Cup
