The second division team FC Ingolstadt and regional league team VfB Eichstätt want to intensify their cooperation. Main focus: match practice for Schanzer talents.
As FC Ingolstadt announced on Friday, both clubs want to strengthen their cooperation once again. The FCI and VfB Eichstätt, who compete in the Bavarian Regional League, have already been partner clubs since the summer of last year.
In order to further intensify the partnership, young players from the second division club are to be given the opportunity to gain match practice with VfB Eichstätt. In addition, there should be “regular direct exchange between the responsible parties”.
“We are deliberately not relying on contractual ties, but much more on the constant exchange that already exists,” explained FCI managing director Manuel Sternisa.
